Pennypack Preserve is a 5.2 mile loop trail located near Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round.
I have done this trail many times, and it is a very nice walk through woods and meadows. The stretch along the Pennypack Creek is probably the best part of it. Trails are well maintained and easy to follow.
Great place for a family hike!
my family really the day on the trails.
This trail is really easy. I just actually found out there are side trails that branch off the main paved trail. Go Explore!
Easy and casual hiking.
Easy trails, albeit few where dogs are permitted.
This trail.isy old standby as it is close to home. The terrain is fairly level, although there are a few trails that break off the main Creek Rd trail that are a little more challenging. The pathway varies between paved, dirt, gravel and rocks. I wouldn't recommend this trail for a day or so after it has rained as some sections can get quite muddy.
