Peace Valley offers 14 miles of nature trails in the woods and meadows at the eastern end of Lake Galena. Doylestown is nearby and offers many great restaurants and historical sites of interest. The town also has several bed and breakfasts. The trails vary from mown grass paths to remote, moderately technical trails through the woods. This park has a lot to offer. Hiking trails are easy and can be completed quickly. The lake is privately owned provides kayaking and fishing. High foot traffic almost everyday in this park.
Great little trails that were not paved. Some of the trails were more well maintained that others, but all were clearly marked. Took a map of the trails with me that is accessible through the Lake Galena website. We even saw a few deers along these trails.
Took the family and we all had a blast.
Grew up hikin this often
The trail is pretty and the birding is good. A bit easy.
