Definitely a cool hike - some cool views. Definitely a moderate hike, not hard though- really depends on how much you push yourself. Bear sighting, that was surprising. My dog loved the hike too. Not very crowded which was good. Did get off track on the AT a few miles  - was distracted. 4 out of 5 stars. I gave it 5 out of 5 because I met up with an awesome person, who became my hiking partner for the day - beautiful views, beautiful company, beautiful day & and beautiful memories. November 18

Hiked this on 12-30-2016. Temperature 37 degrees F, sunny and overcast. About 1/2 inch of snow and ice which made it a little treacherous. With the exception of noise from route 80, it was a very enjoyable hike. I did not make it to the top, probably about 1/8 mile from the top but I was whooped and alone so didn't want to push too hard. Beautiful views and a very enjoyable hike. It will get your heart pumping and is definitely worth it once you get to the top. I would highly recommend this hike.

The outlooks were beautiful. Follow the white trail markers, but make sure you don't miss your mark for the loop.
