McFeely Trail is a 0.6 mile loop trail located near New Florence, Pennsylvania. The trail is primarily used for hiking.
Very short ~.5 mile hike that you can hike before you approach Buttermilk Falls. Short and easy so you definitely do it before you get to the falls.
Nice short trail
This one gains a point for the name, "McFeely," as in Mr. McFeely, the Speedy Delivery guy on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. The trail, and Buttermilk Falls County Park, is located on land owned by the McFeely family, Fred Rogers' grandparents, and it's a kick to think that you're wandering the same woods that Mr. Rogers wandered as a kid. It's a short trail, more of a stroll than a hike, but very pretty during every season. An adjacent farm road, which may be on private property, can extend the distance by another 1.5 miles through rolling countryside. This is a great park for small kids, a picnic lunch, maybe a walk with the dog. The falls are beautiful. Fall foliage is exceptional in the area during the first 2-3 weeks each October.
