Longwood Gardens is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near East Marlborough Twp, Pennsylvania and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round.
Very flat. An easy trail. Walk the gardens as well they are beautiful.
I've been to Longwood a lot and really enjoy it. Its a very easy place to walk around and offers a lot to see. New plants and shows are presented each season. Café food is prety good to. The 1906 restaurant is even better.
Disclaimer: This is not a park. There are no arduous trails of any sort. For more info go to the website.
Membership is totally worth it for couples! We work 20 min from there and go whenever the weather permits. Summer flowers are amazing right now and Nightscape is memorising! Can't wait for the Italian Gardens to open up next spring!
longwood is a unique place and absolutely worth going too in all seasons. never ever miss Christmas time at longwood at night for the light shows, interior feativities all of course the musical fountain shows. it's a can't miss experience for the entire family.
Countless times. Seriously, my aunt lived near here when I grew up and this was all free. To my parents, this was like a walk around the neighborhood -- we did it all the time. Never knew how lucky I was.
My favorite was the eye. You will understand when you see it.
Now, my favorite is the treehouse. The kids love it.
Beautiful gardens, easy trails to walk
I've been here twice, once in spring and for Christmas. Save your money and enjoy real nature or Christmas lights for free somewhere else.
Longwood Garden is lovely. Some people may not consider it a hiking trail because you have to pay to get in (but then again you have to pay to get into a lot of parks) but it is a very easy trail through very lovely gardens. Easy is good when you are old and have problems walking or when you have to push a stroller. This place is not only beautiful but designed for everyone to enjoy and you can do it at your leisure. Warning though, the food at the Café is expensive and it is best to bring a picnic lunch.
this is not a hiking trail, a wonderful place, you have to pay to get in
very beautiful, the gardens are immaculately kept and stunning all year round. also the bathrooms are some of the best you will ever go to!
its best over Christmas when they have the light show, stunning!
ABSOLUTE MUST SEE AT CHRISTMAS!!!
Wonderful lights and displays.
Must see here: the cut section of a sequoia that is over 2100yrs old. No that's NOT A TYPO! so basically, that tree was growing when Jesus was here. kkeewwlll
Love bringing the family up here during the Christmas season.
