Laurel Hill Lake Trail is a 5.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Somerset, Pennsylvania that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Take I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) to Exit 110 (Somerset). Take PA-31 west for eight miles. Turn left on Trent Road and follow the signs to Laurel Hill State Park.
This is a great loop hike. Varying scenery. Bobcat trail can be steep at parts and a little rough but the others are very nice and comfortable to walk on.

It starts at the #4 boat launch
Briefly north and turn left before the bridge to get on Hemlock Trail.
Left/West on Buck Run Road.
Right turn onto Bobcat Trail.
Bobcat Trail to a left on Beltz Trail/Road.
Left onto Martz Trail
Right onto Pump House Trail
Go past the 1st right for Tram Road Trail (wrong direction).
Take the 2nd right onto Tram Road Trail
Tram Road Trail along the river
Right across the bridge at the Teaching Station
Stay on this unnamed trail/road until the big parking area and beach.
Then you can find your way to Copper Kettle Trail along the water and turn left/north to the #4 boat launch.
