Eagle Rock Resort is a 0.4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Hazleton, Pennsylvania that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and canoeing and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Awesome and spectacular.
First off, this trail is not technically public, as it's on a gated resort. You have to be a resident or guest, or using the slopes, golf course, or restaurant.
The "trail" is very short and not well-defined, so it's more like just exploring between the road and the falls/cliffs. There's a big "at your own risk" sign. There are several deep fissures and crevasses in between the boulders. It's not really closed during winter months, but obviously not very safe with snow on the ground. Again, AYOR.
Definitely worth checking out if you're on the resort and bored with all the other amenities :)
