This is a beautiful trail. In one short loop it passes Balanced Rock, Rainbow Falls and runs up both sides of Abbott Run, partly from high above.
A nice little trail. There is one place where you need to duck under a big downed tree and another where you take a temporary trail up around a downed tree. Up the temporary bypass is okay but down is very slippery. And it is a bit of a fall to the rocks below if you goof. The loop mileage is from the parking lot. If you started the loop at Rainbow Falls or Balanced Rock it is only about a quarter mile.
