Beautiful scenery, but totally neglected trail. 6 of us hiked the entire trail with lots of laughs as we crawled over and under humongous logs! (and a few naughty words). Needs big time help.
Lovely creek side walk but overgrown and hard to find trail at about 2.8 miles up from Hwy 62. Needs a trail crew to give TLC.
best trail ever.
This is a long moderate hike over some rough terrain. The path doesn't quite follow along the river and there are dense logs, trees and rocks blocking access to the river throughout most of the trail, which makes it difficult to see the falls along the way. At the end of the trail you can either turn around and go back the way you came or loop around to the gravel road on the left and follow it to Hwy 62 and walk to hwy 230 going left and you will come to the Gorge and then back to Union Creek area.
