Good quick hike off side of Hwy 58 just East of Oakridge. Pretty forest hike and nice waterfall views.
Easy little trail. Only went to the salt creek falls. Had the folks with me so we did not go to the diamond falls.
But still nice
Just okay. Diamond Creek falls are cool but the rest of the trail is pretty uninteresting with a lot of noise from the highway and train tracks. It's fine if you are in the area anyway, but definitely not worth going out of your way.
Short simple hike. Well maintained trail but with some moderate traffic. Splendid views of the falls can be seen from many angles.
Good hike. Trails are nicely marked. Mosquitos are terrible so bring bug spray!!! Got caught in a thunderstorm but it was cool. Did this hike with my dog and he had fun playing in the creek. Salt creek trail was super busy but we had the diamond falls trail to ourselves.
easily do-able. breathtaking views. didn't want to leave. a picnic is a great idea. would not recommend bringing young children.
Nice hike with moderate elevation gain. We visited in April and the parking lot for Salt Creek Falls is still closed. It's about a half mile walk in from the closed gate across mostly frozen snow. Still quite a bit of snow on the trail so attire your feet appropriately. We were post holing in alot of places. The lowest view point for Salt Creek Falls is just past a bit of a rock slide which wasn't worth risking a fall to get to, you still have a great view.
Didn't hike the entire falls, but you can stop and get great views of the falls. This was in May so the trail head wasn't open, but we could park and walk down the road to view the falls from the trail head. Beautiful!
Amazing it's one of my favorites and I go every year!
Easy hike in the snow, but the waterfall was amazing. I assume the hike is much better with no snow, but the trail in the snow was awesome none the less. 2 mile hike in the snow.
Great hike! Nice views of waterfall and some basalt columns. Took my dog and she loved it! We went the day after Christmas
Beautiful. Trail is easy; well-marked. Just watch out for the MONSTER drop-offs. Seriously. Yikes.
Great easy trail with an amazing view
Easy hike with two waterfalls and good views.
