Good hike but no dogs allowed
A short nice hike that takes you from the viewing platform, down a paved trail to several hundred feet of pure sand walking, then through a transitional forest and finally to the beach and ocean. All within about 1.1 miles. there was not another person on the beach as far as we could see. No problem for the kids. Heed the signs to keep off the nesting bird areas.
