One of my favorite hikes conveniently located in Portland! Expect to share the trail with others as it's regularly traveled. Great for trail running, too. The views of Portland from the mansion are incredible and it's a lovely spot to relax before headed back down.

The trail was fantastic and well marked. Fairly busy though. We hiked this on a Monday and still a dozen other hikers and runners.

Nice moderate hike from Lower MacLeay Park to Pittock Mansion. It's shaded the whole way, follows a small river 1/2 way up and then heads into tall trees on a well worn path with rare obstacles underfoot. It's popular so there are many others going up/down but not excessive.

An afternoon hike with my family, very pretty and some good exercise, but my kids did get a bit bored because there were no waterfalls, animals, etc.

Challenging yet doable. Excellent view at the mansion.

Beautiful trail! My boyfriend & I started at about 11 on a Friday, we did encounter quite a few people at first but once you get in and onto the wildwood trail, there aren't nearly as many people. There was elevation, but nothing too steep! Also lots of fallen logs & a beautiful creek for the first portion- we had fun climbing across on all the logs

Wonderful trail. A bit steep in places but well worth it. Not too busy for a holiday weekend.

Pretty good hike. Not too crowded until you get to the mansion. Steep areas make for a decent workout.

Nice and shady. A little muddy in spots. Some of the rudest people we've ever run across but it was well maintained.

I have done this several times. parking not so good unless you go early crowded trail any day of the week but nice days and nice weekend's almost unbearable to me ....lots of left poop bags...off leash dogs ..and joggers. Also field trips beautiful gem but definitely a city hike not so much my style nice to have though
