amazing! loved every minute. nice assortment of uphill, downhill, flat, awesome views.
I loved this hike! There are so many beautiful scenes. The trail was complicated during this time of year due to snow covering the path. We ended up hiking 13 miles instead of the 9 miles that it shows but it was well worth the effort! I do wish they had more signs to guide you through the path.
Love this trail! The log bridge is a bit scary for a dog that's too big to carry...
Did this trail last week and combined it today with the Soda Creek Trail which leaves from the same parking lot. Streams are much more doable that last week but the beautiful flowers on the Soda Creek trail won't last long so if you're interested get out soon.
Amazing spot- great scenery and lakes are pristine. Tough going in after a long night in downtown Bend but a quick hike out.
Hiked the 4.2 to the amazing lake. Really nice hike. Almost all up hill, but the grade is easy. We ran most of the way back to the car. Great stream runs along side of the trail almost the entire length. Some shade some sun.
The whole hike follows a creek which has some great white water view, this along with the lush green landscape makes for a beautiful hike, it transports you out of the high desert, brown, to somewhere unlike Central Oregon...Green. You can't see the mountains very well till near the top. The lake is so clean and pristine.
I would definitely recommend this hike to a friend.
If you are a fast hiker, time up is about -1.5 hours and done about 1 hour.
Loved this hike, it was beautiful.
