Fernhill Wetlands is a 1.2 mile loop trail located near Forest Grove, Oregon that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
This 243 acre wetland area is a must-see for bird watchers. The Audubon Society of Portland recognizes this area as a popular place to see a variety of Pacific Northwest bird species. There is usually plenty of parking and a nice gravel path circling the northern wetland pond provides bird watchers the opportunity to view the wildlife up close. Make sure to bring a good zoom lens and binoculars.
It's a quick walk with the three kids and there's a lot to look at. We go often.

Really great, easy walking path. Would be great for bird watching. There's a neat man made waterfall area. No dogs allowed which is a bit shame.
