Pretty short, easy hike leading to a spectacular amphitheater with Elowah Falls in the backdrop. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

The falls are beautiful. The hike is difficult for folks not in shape. I brought a friend with me and assumed the trails would be more flat but there is a lot of uphill climbing that again was challenging for someone not in shape. Also, the paths have a lot of rocks embedded in them, which makes for uneven grounds.

It was a great hike. The falls are so pretty. Lots of switch backs. Lots of rocks on the trail. But there is another way out besides the switch backs. Just go up the hill from the bridge. About a 1/2 mile. Stay left on the trail. You end up at the bicycle trail. It's a nice flat walk. Or go back up the way you came in. Enjoy this beautiful area.

Go see Elowah falls as well if you're on this trail, both nice falls and not a very long hike to see both

Easy to get to, very short. Waterfall isn't an easy one to get a good photo of but worth seeing

My favorite waterfall hike it wasn't crowded which I love this says 1.2 but if you go up above on the McCord creek trail there are amazing views and you'll get 4 plus miles started to get crowded as we came out to our car but no where near as bad as Angels rest or Multnomah

I did this hike twice while in Portland, and both times it was fantastic. I photographed a couple the second time, and the images turned out fantastically. It goes without saying, but prepare to get wet if you plan to wander close to the falls. It's an enjoyable, quick hike. Have fun!

Nice and easy

Nice hike but the switch backs were a little intimidating with a 2 and 4 yr old. We kept them in carriers for a majority of the hike. We only did the Elowah falls portion.
