Elk Creek Falls Trail is a 0.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Powers, OR that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
Directions from Powers: Go south on County Road #219 to Forest Service Road #33 to MP 57.
This hike is not 1 mile. I would guess it's closer to a tenth of a mile from the trail head to the falls. Beautiful area. I do not recommend driving the back logging roads like we dogs to get there though.
This is a very short trail, probably less than .25 miles. It leads to a view of the waterfall, a bench, and a picnic table.
