Aneroid Lake is a large tarn located on Aneroid Mountain in the Eagle Cap Wilderness of Northeastern Oregon. It is situated in between Roger Lake and Dollar Lake. It is not accessible by any kind of motor vehicle. There is a small group of private cabins and Pete's Point is clearly visible. The area is known for unexpected avalanches, which at times have caused fatalities. The area is typically covered in snow as early as October and has become a popular cross-country skiing destination. Guided tours are available, some tours utilize the cabins at the lake.

Lovely! Very easy to follow trail, steep start to great views of wallowa lake, pretty meadows, and finally aneroid lake at the top! Really pretty this time of year (late July) and I would love to see what it looks like with more snow.

Amazing views, giant rushing glacial water that flows into the lake, emerald waters. Plan to stay overnight and enjoy
