Bowman Park Trail is a 6.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Albany, Oregon that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Nice park with a short trail along the Willamette river. This is a city park but most people never go beyond the boat ramp or the picnic areas. Over the wooden foot bridge is a nature trail. The terrain is a flat hardpack trail. Periwinkle Creek enters the Willamette River here. It is interesting that the creek flows in the opposite direction as the river. NOTE: It has not recommended to do this hike alone due to safety reasons.
NOT OKAY FOR CHILDREN!!!! This is the drug hangout of Albany's parks!!! The trail is beautiful but full of drugged people who watch you. I don't recommend ever!!!
Shady people in the area not a very safe trail
I do not recommend going here, it's full of weird people (drugged groups of people) who stay late in vehicles getting high and watch you. Not kid friendly!!!
Beautiful walk along the riverside. Would never go alone or unarmed o_0
