Remote, but beautiful drive to get there. Not crowded. Nice hike.
Nice easy hikes for quick weekday adventures at Beazell! You can take the south ridge road up for a steeper more challenging route.
This forest has a couple of nice hikes, and a wonderful history of its birth. Be sure to read about it on the info boards near the parking area. Good hikes for dogs, and for getting one's heart rate jacked up a bit.
They're doing some logging until the end of October 2013, so all the south trails are essentially closed. The open trails are lovely, however! Very wide and easy to follow. Great for dogs!
Great time today on the Bird Loop and the Plunkett Creek trail. Beautiful hike along the creek. Just a notice, though, the Southern part of the park, including the longer trail, is closed for construction. Not sure how long, but they have the trailheads on both ends posted.
this is a nice park, hike up to the south meadow view point for some nice views. once the flowers start blooming, it should be even prettier. all in all it is an easy hike.
A nice hike with kids 5 to 11, although there was whining until we hit the summit...:-) A nice hike with plenty of shade. The restrooms are flush with sinks.
Been hiking this trail several times.. just wanted to say... great documentation on this guide..
