Views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range Mountains. The hike to the top of Bald Hill offers some beautiful views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range mountains. On a clear day, you can also see parts of the Cascade Mountain Range. Bald Hill area offers opportunities for everyone. There is a paved path that works its way almost around the entire base of the hill that is well used on almost any given day, especially in the summer months. The trails to the top vary from very well maintained to somewhat maintained. The trail is always clear, and wide enough that two horses can fit side by side in most areas. The trail to the top is heavily wooded, but the top offers outstanding views because there aren't many trees on top - hence the name Bald Hill.
I absolutely loved this trail. You went through dense foliage, came to clearings that overlooked farmland, and had a gorgeous view of the valley at the top of your hike. Plus there are new benches along the way to sit and take in the views!
The hike itself wasn't hard, it was a perfect way to get outside and get some fresh air in the middle of the day!
Nice hike, especially with my pup :)
Nice hike! Good views at the top
Fun little loop. Not too tough of a run.
beautiful views on a clear day.
Fun short hike
Quick little hike of you are bored and wanna get out.
Beautiful short hike. On a sunny clear day you can see the sisters of the cascades and Mary's Peak to the west.
Beautiful oak trees and a view of the valley.
We walked this trail, and had a great time! Very little used, only saw horses once, and a couple of kids biking. Nice views, good shady area on hot days, and a long stretch of sunny road on cooler days!
a very nice little park. easy stroll
