Cave Trail is the trail that leads to Robbers Cave believed to be the hide out of infamous outlaws. The area is very scenic. The trail is a combination of the original CCC trail and an easier trail built at a later time. Great views and rock formations. The cave is the primary park attraction.
Good scenery, awesome rock formations! Pretty steep in some spots but enjoyable!
We loved the trails. Some were little hard to make out with the leaves and pine needles. They have the trail marked very well!
We did primitive camping and was awesome. Go back again soon!
Short but very nice trail
Lot of rock climbing up and down
It was so much fun my husband and the kids loved it!! Definitely will be back again sometime!
Great hike for the whole family and pets
So much fun, beautiful place to see and not to difficult for children everyone will have a blast
One of my absolute favorite places to go in OK. It's just beautiful and is a wonderful park overall.
What a fun short trail! It was exciting to crawl through the caves and explore the history behind it. The rocks there are also excellent for rock climbers. We also saw families bring their pets and children.
The park offers a guide who will tell you the history of the cave as well.
I absolutely loved this trail! Lots of opportunities to challenge yourself by climbing over boulders. This trail is also great for beginners as there are smoother flat land trails along side the more difficult ones. Plenty of shade, lots of wild life, great views from the top of the trail!
** Loved that you are able to go in, around, and through the caves. Great for kids and adults alike. You could definitely bring your furry companion, but be aware that some spots may be too steep for them to climb. ***
There is also a camp site down below the cave trails.
My wife and I Completed the Cave Trail On 7/17/15. This short hike is well worth the time. There are a lot of great views the trail is well marked. Allow your self plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views and scenery this trail has to offer.
I thought it was a nice hike do to with the kids. Very busy area but worth it.
Pretty short and easy. Nice view at the top.
The cave is rather small, but it is still worth while. There are a lot of great views and the area is very well kept. The trail is short, but a great hike if you like to challenge yourself. Not too many tourists; great atmosphere! Will definitely go back.
One of my favorite places in OK!
