The Park has a series of trail loops with trail heads in various locations within the park. There are four main hiking trails; The Tower Lake Loop (1.9 miles), The Creek Loop (1.3 miles), The Cabin Loop (1.3 miles), and The Falls Loop (0.5 miles). Combined the trials are roughly 5.5 miles in length with various degrees of difficulty. Parts of the trial are rocky in some spots, and can be difficult to walk on so be sure to where some decent hiking shoes. The trails aren't marked very well either, but the paths are fairly well defined in most places with a few side trails to get to overlooks and other scenic views. Also for the mountain bikers there are some trails to the east of the Tower Lake Loop.
I have been coming to Osage Hills for the past 15 years and I enjoy hiking the trails every time I come!
Fun short hike that leads to a little waterfalls area on the creek. Located at the Osage Hills State Park. Trail entrance is located just past the park's swimming pool.
Did this with my 3 year old and he had a blast. There are informational boards along the trail that will tell you about the local wildlife and plant life. We also found a side trail that leads closer to the creek.
