Bolin Hollow Trail is a 8.5 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Bunch, Oklahoma and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from September until May. Horses are also able to use this trail.
Its a rough trail, actually it doubles as a hunting road, so you could encounter 4wds during hunting season. But if you want to do an Ozarks back country trail on public land, you might try this one. I would avoid it during deer season. No overnight camping. There are several elk in the refuge, some black bears.
