Wonderful loop through the woods. Some great overlook views into some creek beds as well. Pretty easy hike. Not too much elevation change. Just a great walk through the woods. Pretty well traveled, even during the off season.
Flat well maintained, nice walk through the woods.
Well maintained trail. Good shade. Some wet sections of run-off. Great for kids/families. Mostly flat. We used this trail as an "add-on" for more mileage/exercise, after the Ledges Trail. Not much scenery, though fall colors would be good.
Great as a connector trail to the Ledges/Lake Trails. Great to add on a couple miles. Some great views of small valleys and a decent amount of elevation to other paths.
Good trail. I went in bad conditions so i have to go again and see if things have changed!
A very nice, quick loop. It can easily be combined with Ledges and Kendall Lake for a 7 or 8 mile hike. And those trails connect to others. Very well maintained. Almost too well.
Decent, well-maintained trail. Mostly flat, but some overlooks to the river valley below. Be sure to cross over to the Ledges overlook trail on your way back to the parking lot.
