Hybrid trail of hard pack dirt and pavement. This is the Brown loop in the Oak Openings Preserve Metropark.

My husband and I hiked this trail on a very breezy summer day. It is a very nice trail, easy to walk, with some nice views. Oak Openings in general is a very nice metropark, with some very fun things to do. They have shelter houses that can be rented for parties and such, and some very nice offshoot trails. Just a short trip from Toledo, this is a great park!

I was goin to mountain bike but all paved trails. Fish are lazy and if u bass fish a lot like me this is boring. Fish only go for bobbers.

Completed this loop and others as part of a 10 mile hike with our Boy Scout Troop. Nice trail, better suited for running or biking than hiking. Loop is actually 5.3 miles, not 5 as listed.

Nice wide, smooth, well maintained bike trail close to Toledo. Trail is about
75% hard-pack dirt so I would not take a road bike here. A hybrid is well suited to this trail. Probably too tame for the hardcore MTB crowd. Bike path trailhead is at the evergreen lake parking area. Trail is almost entirely through
mature forest. Trail is well marked. The trail intersects several walking/hiking and equestrian trails on which bikes are not allowed. This is the perfect trail to slow down and enjoy the surroundings!
