One of three short trails in Shawnee Lookout, another well-maintained and easily accessible Hamilton County Park. Admission is $3 per day. Easy lollipop style trail taking you along the Ohio River. This trail features a couple nice views and some excellent geocaching opportunities. Like most Hamilton County Parks, the trails are well maintained with several benches along the way if you need a little rest.
Great trail with a couple overlooks of the Ohio River. One strenuous hill in the middle but otherwise very easy.
View was great, not hilly
As the overview states, this trail is well maintained. It is an easy hike with a few hills. You are in the woods the whole time but have some great views of the Ohio river. Unfortunately, the invasive honeysuckle is taking over an otherwise great view of the woods. Along most of the trail the tall canopy of hardwoods allow you to see some wildlife (deer, owls, and such). This is a great walk for families.
