Lakeview Trail is a 2 mile out and back trail located near Springfield, Ohio that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.
Directions from Milford, OH: Travel east on State Route 131 for 8 miles. Bear left on SR 727 and proceed 3 miles to the park entrance. Travel past the park office looping right on Lake Drive. A small picnic area with trailhead parking is visible along Lake Drive.
its a good family trail for hiking or bike riding, not a trail that is too far from campground or cabins, a good trail to just see what the fields, woods and lakeside offer, always be sure to have a water bottle can get hot.
Not my favorite trail. The trail is easy to hike mostly a grass path, a couple nice views of the lake. You walk pass a camp ground and multiple cabins. I would prefer to be in a more wooded area. If you are in to disk golf the course looked pretty cool.
This trail is hard to follow because no one uses it. The only good thing about it is that there are little areas off to the side where you can cool off in the water.
