Amazing hike! Absolutely gorgeous. Not very challenging, but it's a lot of fun to go off trail and explore the rocks
Always a good hike. The views are wonderful and the terrain is pretty varied compared to other areas of the park. The only downside is the somewhat confusing trails. You can often see two or three other trails near the one you are on. That is what you get for traversing such a small area though. It is also pretty well traveled, so don't expect a walk in the woods by yourself :)
Very easy well marked trails. Beautiful rock formations. Plenty of grills and tables along trail
Very easy trail. I walk here very often because I live very close. Plus it's right by my favorite outdoor store, Appalachian Outfitters
Beautiful trail. Don't forget your camera! Lots of great photo ops. This trail has something for everyone. Loved how natural the trail was. Climbing the rock formations gave a bit of challenge and excitement to the day! Side trails are great. Even our dog enjoyed the trail. We would highly recommend exploring The Ledges as well as the loop trail. Two thumbs up
Excellent and fun for the younsters.
Excellent trail. Can make what you want of it by taking some of the side trails. Take a camera....numerous photo ops.
We headed from the Ledges parking lot to Look Out from there we took Pine GroveTrail, which has a conectecting trail to the Lake Loop then did the Salt Run Trail back over to finish the Pine Grove trail ending at Ledges pavilion.
With all the conectecting trails this made for a great long challenging hike.
Decent hike. Nice overlook for fall colors when they finally turn.
Great trail with nice scenic views. Cool rock formations and cliffs.
Great trail, but I ran as the sun went down. Even with the flashlight it was rather treacherous. Also, adding the trail past the shelter down the middle and back next adds an extra mile to the trail.
A wide generally easy trail through darker foliage than the surrounding trails.
My only aggravation is that the trail signs don't match the map. The signs were misleading more than once. Follow the map.
A very popular loop trail with many unique rock formations, a nice view from the overlook and a pretty open area in between.
As suggested by the Ranger in the visitors center, we started from the Octagon shelter parking area, which takes you right into the bottom of the ledges (best view). Today we just did the loop, but there are lots of paths in/out of the impressive rock formations. Looking forward to more exploring the next trip.
Such a wonderfully beautiful nature trail. Kid and family friendly, gorgeous scenery - the perfect place for some "nature therapy"!
Amazing trail nice overhanging rock formations took 2 small children they loved it. I felt like i was back at hocking hills
