Widow's Creek Trail is a 5 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Traphill, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Widow's Creek Trail is accessed via the backpack parking area. The trail follows Widow's Creek for 2.5 miles ending at the backpack sites. To view Widow's Creek Falls, park just beyond the Widow's Creek bridge and walk a short distance upstream.
The part considered Widows creek Trail is Nice a home place chimney stands on the left about 0.6 up the trail nice walk along the creek win you get to the back pack camping Area it runs out the MST shots to the right and the first stretch or maybe all the way up to the Devils Garden overlook is like a rutted out Fourwheeler trail I wouldn't know if it's like that all the way I only went like 2 Miles after widows creek switched out to become the MST
Trail is marked "no hiking". Permitted fishing only. Named Bullhead Stream.
My wife and I made it to the third bridge on a last minute hike this past saturday. How far from the 3rd bridge are the backpacking sites?
