This hike starts at the Jacob Fork Parking Area and follows the Hemlock Nature Trail along the Jacob Fork River to the High Shoals Falls Loop which uses a section of the Upper Falls Trail to access the Upper Falls Trail Campsites. TRAILS USED: Hemlock Nature Trail, Upper Falls Trail, High Shoals Falls Loop...starting up Upper Falls which is a good horse 3 mile loop connecting to High Shoals Falls Loop..winding down the stairs beside the waterfall. Great views. Hike up road is not an easy one 95% uphill.

If heading north there are quite a few uphill climbs if going south you'll have some sustained descents which will be made hard only by the rocky terrain; mind the slip. The trail is largely equestrian compatible but has a few spots where the trees break and you get a great vista.
