An easy trail to a very picturesque and tall waterfall...perfect for families.
Pretty but watch out for lots of snakes in the rocks. Lots of places off the trail to see the river.
Easy and fun hike. Trail extends beyond top of waterfall

Super easy trail with a beautiful waterfall to finish! Perfect for an easy, family hike.
Very Cool! Fun for the kids! Short walk and kids had fun in the water.
Very nice trail close to home. It had been about 15 years ago when I last hiked this trail. I really like the improvements that have been made!
Very, very short out and back hike. Nice waterfall. takes about five minutes to get to the falls.
A good hike, although it's very brief. Don't rush it, though, as there is an abandoned flooded mine nearby that you can explore part of as well. The parking area is easy to miss and poorly marked, so be careful. My fiancee and I drove past it, and were yelled at very angrily by a woman who's dog was busy trying to accost our car. We got out to switch seats, and she yelled "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY DOG." Creepy woman... Anyways, I digress.
It's a great short hike, with a pretty decent waterfall, and some things to see along the way. Not super memorable or fantastic, though, either.
Trailhead is NOT in downtown Marion, but 5.7 miles north on 226, then 1.2 miles west on Huskins Branch Road.
