Great day for a bike ride... low 70s and sunny. South Turkey Creek Trail is part of the Umstead State Park multi-use trail system (MUTs) and connects the Reedy Creek trail to the North Turkey Creek and Cedar Ridge trails. This trail is about 1.5 miles and is mostly an easy to moderate connector trail, not much else. Still it makes a nice respite from the uphills you’ll face going in any direction.
