Nice easy hike. Perfect for my dog, pretty scenery with the lake!
Great to have in "Raleigh's backyard"
Easy trail, a found spot under a tree and read.
Quick easy hike that goes right up to the lake
Beautiful forest, trails were easy to follow and clearly marked. Disappointed by the noise from the nearby international airport.
Nice easy trail.
A fun and leisurely hike, even for a New Year's day after a decent rainfall.
My first experience. I was hesitant. Battery running low on GPS map made me turn and head back sooner than I wanted to. I'll return. Very soon!
good easy hike

Beautiful and easy hike
Perfect for an easy chill hike in the morning. Should be easy for all age groups.
It was good for family hike. About 3/4 way around there's a damn, lake & boathouse that rents canoes & paddle boats. We ate our lunch along the stream & kids played on the rocks. Downside is you can hear RDU airport the whole time. It can be like you are hiking on the runway. Excellent trail for runners.
Easy. Not a loop so backtrack at end. Nice creek. Will be much prettier when the leaves return.
