This trip covers the Reasonover Creek Trail, which features two challenging creek crossings, an abandoned airstrip, and a stunning view of Lake Julia. This one-hundred-acre lake is actually man made, and is surrounded by rocky cliffs. This loop can be hiked or mountain-biked. It is moderately difficult, considering the two river crossings. The scouts of Brevard Troop 703 provide audio guides at major intersections and points of interest. The loop begins at Fawn Lake Access Area and proceeds along the following trails: Right (from parking area) onto Reasonover Creek Trail. Left on Lake Julia Road. Hard left on Camp Summit Road. Turn left onto Conservation Road back to parking lot.
