A moderate trail that wanders through lowland pine and hardwood forests, crossing some small streams with seasonal wildflower displays. It connects the Grindstone and Corridor Trails. It also is the trailhead for the 22-mile Sauratown Trail (not far from the park office parking lot).

Fun trail and great for dogs! Nice creek to put your feet in, if so desired.

Nice trail through the woods. Even better when added to the Mountain and Grindstone Trails to complete a 6.5 mile loop around Pilot Mountain.
