Pretty Awesome!!!! Foggy today, amazing trail and views.
Definitely enjoyed this hike, even on a chilly, foggy and sometimes rainy day. I do not think the trail qualifies as hard at all. The sign at the trailhead says it is intermediate. The views are lovely.
Loved it! The view was amazing this time of year, great for family hiking or with a large group.
Amazing trail, approximately a 1,100 ft increase in elevation to the top. Get there early as parking limited during weekends as park is full. Breathtaking views!!
Great trail with some expansive views o f the NC countryside.
I thought this trail was very The views were great once you were up on pilot mountain. I didn't think it was a hard trail at all. Only con would be that too many people are trekking on this trail as well. Constantly had to stop and wait for people to go by or wait to pass people.
Tough climb up. I went down the ridge with my husband and back up Grindstone and it was a hearty trek up the mountain. But felt great afterwards!
