107 steps to a beautiful waterfall.
Lots of stairs, but beautiful scenery.
Not much of a hike, short. Very steep stairs going up.
Great short hike! We climbed up the left side of the falls past the bridge and found a steep challenging trail that takes you up to the mountain top where we discovered more falls beyond what was visible from the bridge.
Glad we went. Short .4 trail starting with lots of stairs but easier as you go. Small but nice viewing area.
Only .42 miles up and back. Wrong on App, it is not 1.2 miles. Well worth trip to falls! Nice trail with a lot of stairs and would consider easy if you just take your time on the stairs! Beautiful drive on Blue Ridge Parkway to trail from Maggie Valley. Porta Johns at trail head. Glad we went!
Very very short! You have to go up quite a few stairs (the incline isn't very steep) to get to the falls and the entire walk to the falls itself is really only about 10 minutes from the parking lot. I wish it was little bit longer but other than that, the falls are very beautiful! Since there's not much water coming off the falls, you can also play around the base!
Stairway to an amazing waterfall and bridge
Short but beautiful!!
This was a short walk with several stairs at the beginning. It is around .2 miles to get to the waterfall viewing area, and the waterfall is one of the highest I've seen in this region. My son and I ventured up the waterfall line for a few yards, but watch out for slippery rocks. The waterfall view was definitely worth the short hike.
You need to know there are lots of stairs if that's something you aren't willing to do. It was a beautiful area and worth every step!
The kids and I had a great time. Check out our full review with things to look out for.
Excellent, fairly easy
It's a perfect hike and a beautiful falls. You'll love it.
We went early in the morning and it was cool, however it's heavy shaded all the way up. It's stairs most of the way and it's really a quick hike to a really pretty waterfall! Highly recommend it
Easy, short hike with a gorgeous falls at the end.
