Jockey's Ridge Soundside Nature Trail is a 0.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sound Side, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Easy trail primarily through maritime thicket and sound estuary habitats. Several wooden bridges and a wooden staircase make this hike simple and enjoyable, and the views of the Sound cap it all off. Lizards and birds abound, also mosquitoes in the warmer months so be prepared.
