Huckleberry Knob Trail is a 2.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Robbinsville, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding.
A short hike to the summit of Huckleberry Knob featuring 360 degree views. This easy trail is about 2.5 miles round-trip. Just follow the trail, actually an old road, through the open woods to the Oak Knob. Then stay on the road to Huckleberry Knob.
My children and dog enjoyed the easy hike, the trail is easy to navigate and offers beautiful scenery.
quick easy hike with full 360 view
Amazing panoramic picnic spot 10 minutes up the trail.
Excellent short hike to the camping stead with beautiful views and gorgeous night sky views.

nice wide trail of the cherohala skyway or parkway out of robbinsville, nc. It is around mile marker 7 or 8. make sure you go when everything is in bloom....it should be beautiful!
There is a 360 degree view when you get to the top. Well worth the climb. The trail is mostly through open fields. The is one of the many balds in the southern Appalachian Mountains.
