Great biking trail. We hiked and it was an adventure. The trails are not easy to navigate but all paths eventually lead back to the park. Great hike for a hot sunny day because it is well shaded and there is a peaceful steam that the trails pass by. It was a good hike, very enjoyable.
This is a nice trail. It's starts on he left, well before you flirt to the RC Aircraft area and shelter. It is approx 6 miles long via 3 or 4 loops (I lost count) and has several forks that loop back around. Lots of switch backs but not boring. You could make a nice 3 mile hike with just the two smaller loops.
The XC trail and the Super D are the two paths. It is first and foremost a bike trail, but the bikers I encountered were considerate and communicated well when nearing you. The path is narrow on most of it so single file hiking is the phrase that pays. Several steep parts and few places where a misstep could cause a nice tumble but it's not going to give you any scars or nightmares, unless your out of shape. Infested with hyperactive squirrels.
Well shaded and mostly quiet except the traffic noise near the road. I enjoyed it and had fun running on the down hills. Bring some water since there didn't seem to be a place to fill a bottle at the park.
Very fun trail. Over 6 miles. Uphills and downhills are about equal. So good exercise and good fun reward after each climb.
Nice trails for walking/running with lots of twists and turns ups and downs.
I love walking the trails at Hobby Park. It's so quiet and beautiful. It's the best way to spend your morning.
One of the best trails around. If you can ride the whole loop without putting your foot down, you my friend have done something. But there are some wild climbs, but many more rewarded descents.
Great trail for trail running. Went at 7:30 am to avoid bikers and never saw one. Challenging trail with many hills. The trail could be marked better as there are many twists and turns. Will make this a regular run.
as a beginner to the sport I found this trail to be very challenging, but very rewarding. I cant wait to hit it every chance I get.
By far my favorite trail in the triad. Many hills to climb with rewarding downhills. There is a small rock garden with drops. Confusing at times with forks on trail. Go with someone that knows trail for the first time. Then let it rip! Very cool training trail.
