Hinshaw and Pirate's Cove Greenways is a 3.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Cary, North Carolina that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from September until May. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Loop trail using two great greenways in Cary, NC. Connecting via Greenwood Circle and Kildonan Place and Glengarry Drive, the track is an easy 2.5 mile paved loop along a couple of creeks through an oak, beechnut, gum and hickory tree forest.
The trail is paved with a couple bridges, the bridges are very well kept.
The trail could have used a bench or two. It's not a loop, and there's no parking provided. There's a church next to the trail head that I used to park, don't know how the church feels about it, but there's not a "no parking" sign.
Great 2.5 mile paved stroll with a few inclines along two beautiful oak, beech and maple forested greenway trails, paralleling two creeks.During all seasons the trees are inspiring. A peaceful scenic walk and good workout within the city, lots of dog walkers, some bicycles, mostly just those of us who enjoy a hike in the woods. Highly recommend this if you're in Cary!
