Higgins Greenway Trail is a 1.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Cary, North Carolina and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Wide paved trail. Well suited for wheelchair use though I didn't see any accessible parking. Didn't see anyone while there on a weekday afternoon.
Higgins Greenway is a short flat .8 mile one-way paved greenway good for walking or biking through a wetlands area in Cary, NC. Several access points include SE Maynard Road [no parking], Danforth Drive, West Chatham St, and Union St/Dorothy Park. This is a great trail for a bike ride, walk or run. Trail has completed vegetation restoration and future plans inlcude another phase of stream restoration and another mile of greenway construction to connect up with roads to the north and east to downtown Cary. Well-planned part of the Cary Greenway system.
