Courthouse Creek Falls Trail is a 4.4 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Balsam Grove, NC that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from March until November.
Easy short hike. Look for the log on the ground with the word "Falls" painted in white and an arrow. Steps down to the waterfall are narrow and steep. Well worth the trip.
short trail but amazing waterfall. and not busy at all.
popular trail, very short. Good place for a picnic or to take a new hiker
Short trail, but easy to miss the entrance. The trail is immediately after the last bridge on the left.
The length of the trail is short. Several spots along the way have had trees fall and it seems they are doing some maintenance in those spots. The trail is tucked away under a canopy of trees so there are several places that are muddy. It's a narrow, rocky trail that lead to a set of steep steps that take you down to the pool at the base of the falls. Beautiful 40+ foot waterfall.
