Cape Fear Botanical Garden Trail is a 1.3 mile loop trail located near Fayetteville, North Carolina that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from March until May.
You have to pay to walk this! That being said, this is a very pretty walk especially when you go during the right times of year. They also hold a lot of events here that are fun to go to. But a HUGE drawback for me is that you cannot take pictures here without buying a license to do so! Still, it is a pretty location!
Also, for the family types, this can be done with a stroller but get a little difficult in some areas because about 95% of this is unpaved.

Beautiful Trail, lots of plants and info. Not really a fitness trail. More of a commercial business. If you had a membership to the gardens, this would be a more scenic option that walking the mall...
