This is the same as the Milltail Creek trail. The same review is posted here.
Put in is at the end of Buffalo City Rd (about 4 mi east of the Alligator River bridge) where parking is allowed on the north bound side of the road away from the launch area. A new canoe/kayak launch platform has just been built ( June 2012) that makes launching a pleasure. Marked trails lead to Sawyer Lake and out into Milltail Creek. You can follow the creek west toward the Alligator River where you may see alligators lounging in the sun. You can also follow the creek east for 3 miles to another take-out on Milltail Rd where there is a floating launch platform and plenty of parking. The shuttle between the two areas is about 9.5 mi.
