Utica Marsh Canalway Trail is a 13.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Utica, New York that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Nice walk. You start out on the canal path. It is about a 1.5 mile walk in until you reach the train tracks. From there is just down the hill on the left. The trail does go all the way around now I just didn't do that this day. Blue heron and Canada Geese are regularly seen here. Snapping turtles and painted can be seen as well. You can also see a variety of flowers.
