The Wolfjaws via Range Trail and John's Brook Trail is a 15.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Keene Valley, New York that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, and backpacking and is best used from April until November.
Follow RT 73 into Keene Valley. The trailhead for Rooster Comb is ~ 0.4 miles pass the Ausable Inn turn-off for the Garden. Keep going straight and the trailhead is on your right hand side. On the return route...leave the Garden parking lot and walk ~ 1.5 miles along the road. Take a right at the Ausable Inn and proceed back to the trailhead along Rt 73.
