Awful. Garbage everywhere. Looks like a dumping ground rather than preserve.

Decent Trail. While the scenery is nice there is garbage and graphetti in certain places. The coolest part is the bridge

Horrible! Not pretty at all! Tons of garbage and graffiti. Tiny walking path and you are right by the road for a while. Waste of a hike!

trail running

Ran the lower two segments of the trail system.. I reached the north end of the middle section and couldn't find the connection to the northern most trail, so turned around. Will try again.

The trails are a bit tight for running, you have to stay alert. I don't think the trails in the southern most section (near the Preserve's building) are marked, but the trail is obvious. Lots of roots and mud to contend with and a few sections of the raised decking that was installed had been vandalized.

It's a shame Sunrise Hwy divides the lower two trails as it is a rhythm buster..

Only did northern part of Takapausha. Will go back for remaining two sections. Will update. Path is well marked and easy to see. Seems to have been paved at somepoint. A good numer of trees had fallen over the path, but this just made it more interesting.
