During our travels to New Jersey to visit family, we have managed to cover most of this route...from the New York border down to the southern Jersey Shore. On our last trip, we spent a fun summer day along the coast, ending in Point Pleasant exploring the beach and the boardwalk.

The best part of the route was the Cape May Ferry. It has been over a year, but still a strong memory.

A pleasant and diverse drive down the Jersey Shore. Be sure and take in some of the beach towns if you have time. Some of it still has a lot of damage from last year's storm but other towns like Atlantic City are fully recovered.
