Gorgeous in the fall
Beautiful views - starts with a nice walk through a bog.
Absolutely breathtaking and you don't even have to go to the full summit!!
Great view of the lakes, different view from each peak. Took about 68 pics.
Decent hike for about 80% but the last 20% which had a steep climb will be hard for beginners. Otherwise my 13 year old did a great job finishing the whole hike. Not bad for his first time.
Very nice hike for a Sunday afternoon.
Spectacular views at the top. There's a patch just before the top that requires a little scrambling over large rocks, but it's worth it.
The trail isnt marked well but the view is amazing. It does get pretty steep as you get to the top.
Great trail! My wife, 5 year old and I hiked up and it was just long and challenging enough. There were a few steep rocky points at the very end but my 5 year old handled it all fine. The view at the summit is amazing!
Went out for a quick hike on a gorgeous spring afternoon. A beautiful and short ascent. Great views at the top, especially when it's clear out! However, it being spring, some of the trails are a little hard to follow as a result of the melting snow. Loved this hike, would be great for groups, families, and friends!
First trail with my Lab... Temp was fantastic and my young dog did it like a pro!
We did the hike with our dog. Very quiet trail as we were the only 4 on the trail. Very nice view at the end.
This is a nice trail for kids. They will scramble a bit through some steep areas but the distance is good and the view is wonderful. If you want a good summit view at a short distance this definitely fits the bill. We did this hike as a family trip with the grandparents and everyone had a great time. Be sure to bring your camera!
My 17 year old son and I did this trail today and really enjoyed it It was a last minute (late afternoon) decision but we found it fairly easy with a trail time of about 45 minutes to summit, including some sight seeing (would be tougher for young ones). There is a short steep section at the end over some excellent outcrops. Take your time to enjoy the views along the way as they occur often. For such a short hike the reward is an incredible view. There is a footpath that goes beyond the summit that we followed for a bit but it was 5pm and we needed to get back. We were told it leads to the point at the end so we will be back with an earlier start to try this as well.
